Night On Mount Olympus

Last week the CP alums at my college put together an awesome event called "Night on Mount Olympus" for all of us Fall CPers. We got goody bags full of candy when we walked in, and they had a fantastic selection of Disney-themed youtube movies playing. One of them was a set to that song the Discovery Channel used in their commercials for a while. I thought it was really well done! It got me a little teary-eyed... Disney World is just awesome! :) 

We played Disney trivia for a while (for prizes!), and then they put on the main event - a showing of "Hercules"! I haven't seen this movie in forever. It's great!! I definitely need to get out all my Disney movies and watch them again before the CP!

After the movie, there was MORE trivia (and MORE prizes)! :D  There weren't too many Fall CPers there, so those of us that were got a pretty good stash of prizes. I even won some for Brian, who had class that night and couldn't be there. Check out my winnings!

Brian and I are both pin collectors, so we were really excited that they gave out CP pins! My pin is in plastic in the upper right there - I'm keeping it safe till my next trip! ;)  I also got a notepad and a deck of "Princess & the Frog" tarot cards, which apparently were never sold anywhere! It's kind of like a magic 8 ball type game... you spread the cards out facedown, ask a question, and turn over a card for your answer. The cards are beautiful, though - they're very detailed and they all have character-specific designs around the edges. Mama Odie has a bathtub at the bottom of her card. :D

As a grand finale, we watched Wishes on youtube! I can't wait to be there and see it in person again, as a Cast Member! :)
