CP Graduation

I realized I never talked about CP Graduation! This post is kind of out of order, since graduation took place earlier in December, but I figure now is an appropriate time to talk about it. :)

First of all, it was FREEZING. So we didn't do a whole lot while we were there. We went in, got our completion certificates and graduation Mickey ears, took some pictures by the big graduation banner, had lunch, picked up free CP posters, and then ran back to the car to warm up. By that point, we didn't want to go back out in the cold, so we just went home. Lame, I know. But I kid you not, it was like 30 degrees. I mean look at this, look at my outfit:

I'm wearing TWO jackets. I look like a marshmallow, I have so many layers stuffed under there. I had two pairs of gloves that I hid in my pockets for this picture and then put right back on. And I'm wearing my DAK work boots because they're the warmest shoes I have. I'm not proud of this fashion moment, but I did what I had to do.

Anyways, that's me and my ears and my certificate. :)  They had a DJ playing music and some characters out and about, but the lines were long so we decided to skip the photo ops. For lunch they served hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, pasta salad, and lots of other goodies. It was pretty good, but by the time we carried it from the food tent to a picnic table, it was all cold! ... Did I mention it was freezing that day?

I'm really glad I went. It was fun to meet up with people and congratulate each other... and of course get some freebies. The poster was really nice - it has a picture of the castle and a lot of phrases CPers would be familiar with, like "ER" and "What time is the 3 o'clock parade?" But the ears alone made going to graduation worth it.

And to make it even better, we were able to get them embroidered for free! I got mine done at Mousegears in Epcot.

Definitely one of my most treasured souvenirs of my entire CP. :)
