It seems like a lot of CPers were having some roommate issues - not getting along with roommates, roommates getting termed or going home, roommates switching apartments, etc. Up to this point I had escaped all of that. My roommates and I had arranged to live together before we left home, knowing from talking online that we were all similar in personality, and once we got here we were getting along great and everything was peachy! I was feeling very, very lucky about the whole situation!

And then one roommate moved out to live with her best friend from home.
So now I'm in the boat with many others, waiting for a mystery roommate to move in. We got a note on our door saying a new roommate will be moving in at 9am tomorrow. I just really hope that we can all get along and that the roommate situation continues to be one of my favorite things about the program...
This could either be terribly exciting, or a nightmare. I'm hoping for the first, for your sake :D
ReplyDeleteBoth freshman and sophomore year I got a random roommate and each time it was fine. I didn't become best friends with either of them, but they were both nice people and I got along well with each of them. They were good roommates. You can be just as lucky! Stay positive and only time will tell.
