First, Brian and I went to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
We went as Alice in Wonderland and Indiana Jones... a little random, but we were recycling costumes from years past. We had a great time! We caught the Boo To You parade, Hallowishes, and, for the first time, the Villains Mix & Mingle!
The animation on this sign may have been here before, but it just caught my eye this year, so perhaps it's new? Either way, I thought it was pretty awesome. :)
We watched the show...
And then we got to meet DR. FACILIER. Who is only my favorite Disney villain ever. I was just a *little* excited.
He was fantastic. And he told me "enchante"! :D
We grabbed up lots of candy and rode our favorite rides. Before long, the night was over...
But it wouldn't be our last MNSSHP...
We both managed to work MNSSHP on the same night! :) (Not in the same location - I was near Tiana's Glade and Brian was near the Haunted Mansion... but at least he was there to guide me around backstage!) Working MNSSHP was one of the things I was most hoping to get to do during my CP, so it felt SO GREAT to be able to cross this off my to-do list!!
Yeah, check me out, rockin that bat headband. :D And after wearing head to toe baggy khaki everyday at work, this colorful form-fitting dress+apron combo made me feel so pretty and girly!!
It was lots of fun to work MNSSHP! I handed out soooo much candy, and I can't even begin to estimate how many times I said "Happy Halloween!" I saw lots of pirate and princess costumes, a few Jack & Sallies, a few Alice & Mad Hatters (mostly the new Burton version)... but I give my #1 for originality to a family that dressed as the cast of Hannah Montana... if they were zombies. lol.
Another Halloween festivity: I got to be Brian's guest at a Halloween party held after hours at MK just for the Cast of Adventureland & Liberty Square! They catered food (turkey, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese... all the fall favorites!), had a costume contest, and then finished off the night with a ride through the Haunted Mansion!
Not the best picture... but you get the idea.
Tonight I'm carving pumpkins with the roommates and finishing off my Halloween candy! Hope you all have a very happy Halloween! Boo to you!! :)
