Today is day 1 of 7 shifts in a row... the last 7 shifts before the end of my program!
I wanted to talk about some of the great events that happened this month before it turns to January. First of all, the Winter Formal - possibly my favorite event from the whole program!
It took place at Coronado Springs.
They opened up one of the big ballroom-style rooms for us and we filled it up!
Us CPers weren't the only ones at the formal... the princesses and their princes were there too, in their best formal attire.
I heard Cinderella & Prince Charming, Ariel & Eric, Tiana & Naveen, and Belle & the Beast were there, and I'm sure there were some others. Of course Mickey & Minnie were there, but I wasn't able to meet them since so many CPers wanted to meet them too. But I *did* manage to visit another princess I'd been hoping to meet for the first time...
Rapunzel! And we got to meet Flynn too! My friend Mandie informed him that he was the only guy at the formal not in Disney Look with his chin fuzz. :D
There were plenty of buffet tables set up for us with all kinds of food - salads, pastas, a carving station, desserts...
It was delicious! Much better than the food at any homecoming I ever went to in high school. And I had more fun than I ever had in high school! Usually I don't like to dance, but my friends dragged me out on the floor and I really had a great time. They didn't play many slow songs, but Brian and I got to dance to a few of those too. Just like old times. :)
