I went to the Thanksgiving Dinner that they held for us CPers at Patterson. Brian and I got there 15 minutes before it was scheduled to start, and we were shocked at how many people were already in line!
Over the course of the night, the line would wrap through the parking lot and around the buildings in the complex!
We were welcomed in...
... and given a little backstory...
... and then it was time to get food! And guess who catered this fantastic Thanksgiving Dinner...
SONNY'S!! I'll take 3 plates, please.
They even had the Dickens Carolers singing for us as we waited in line!
Once we got our plates loaded up, we went to find seats inside the tents.
It may not be home cookin', but it's definitely the next best thing!
There was a DJ playing music and giving out prizes, and of course there were some familiar faces that stopped by to join the party...
It was a great night, and Brian and I had a great time!
This was the first big holiday that I've been away from home. It was definitely tough, but this CP event helped.
Thanksgiving week was busy at the parks, but it's getting a little slower again now. I know this is just a lull before things really pick up for Christmas. I can't believe it's almost Christmas... and that our program is almost over! Crazy!!
ps. Still waiting to try that holiday sandwich at Earl of Sandwich... I'll keep you posted.
